“I remember the exact moment I fell in love with coaching. It was during a leadership training in 2018. Witnessing the transformative power of unlocking someone’s potential was a turning point for me. Coaching felt intuitive and aligned with my belief in the unique strengths of every individual. I’ve always seen people as reservoirs of creativity and resourcefulness. Through coaching, I’ve had the privilege of unlocking that potential, empowering others to forge fulfilling careers and personal growth journeys.
Witnessing someone shift their perspective and harness their strengths is incredibly rewarding. The vulnerability and connection shared in coaching sessions are both humbling and energising. Each session leaves me feeling invigorated and grateful for the opportunity to connect with others on a personal level. It’s about more than just setting goals; it’s about cultivating a mindset of growth and possibility.
Building and maintaining strong connections with clients is not always straightforward. Overcoming plateaus and guiding clients towards new insights can be challenging. However, the moments of breakthrough make this work truly worthwhile.
2024 has marked a year of significant change for me. I’m pursuing a degree in holistic nutrition to offer clients a comprehensive approach to well-being, addressing both mind and body. By combining coaching and nutrition, I aim to create transformative experiences that empower individuals to thrive professionally and physically.
This pursuit of holistic well-being also aligns with my recent move to Vancouver, Canada. While this is my seventh move to a new country, each transition brings unique challenges of immigration and adaptation. I find applying my own coaching skills and insights on the stages of change invaluable during these periods.
To balance the demands of my personal and professional growth, I’ve found solace in rock climbing. This physically and mentally challenging sport has fostered resilience and a heightened sense of presence. Being immersed in nature while climbing provides the perfect escape and opportunity to recharge.”
